OUR STORY
During 2020, after many reports of massive uprising domestic violence incidents around the world and the hard stories published in the media, the motivation of another collaboration sparked between the two partners to bring an innovative and creative solution that finally could answer these hard cases of domestic violence we were all exposed to. A short time after, the idea was born – to create an SDK that allows embedding a virtual button, shaped as a butterfly, that will give its users the option to open a discreet conversation with domestic violence experts, in every app and every website.
Choosing the Butterfly as an icon was on purpose, a butterfly symbolizes freedom, transformation and evolution. The idea was to create a global symbol that could pop out so every person in need will know that the Butterfly is there, always, everywhere.
OUR VISION
We, the Butterfly Button team, have a main vision that leads and guides us in every step in our path – allow every man and woman in the world, who suffers from domestic violence, to consult, get help and support, rapidly, effectively and discreetly as much as possible.
Our goals are to increase the number of reports regarding domestic violence and by that to decrease the violence cases, increase awareness to the domestic violence subject, eliminate the element of shame that many of the victims feel, and mostly -to create the most accessible and innovative platform and assist, as much as we can, in saving lives at scale.
